Website development for a local non-profit focused on social justice initiatives

I had just developed a website for a local NAACP branch as my honors thesis project when one of the members approached me with this project. Echoes of Our Ancestors needed a website redesign showcasing new documentary trailers, pictures, and upcoming events. The organization provided dozens of promotional flyers and event photos I could use as inspiration in designing the website.

The challenge was designing a stylish, new website that honored a local history of African American struggles, accomplishments, and faith. Above all, embodying the passion behind the organizaiton drove the designs for the project.
